Complete range of analyzers with sampling for Biological and Chemical Parameters

Overview

Aqualog series are on-line water analyser based on a high resolution UV-visible spectrograph. Our range of analyzers monitor simultaneously many different parameters for waste water treatment plants or river monitoring stations with an excellent stability and low operating cost. The spectrograph can measure organic matter, nitrate, colour, turbidity, phosphate and other metallic and non-metallic parameters. The UV – Vis analyser, is advantageous over conventional analyzers as it comes with parameter and its respective technology addition. A complementary UV-visible fluorescence module allows the measurement of aromatics hydrocarbons (PAH). Nephelometric turbidity by visible or infra-red laser diode is also available. The full UV-visible spectrum can also be used to monitor specific chemical process making the it an ideal instrument for chemical plants. External probes can be added for physicochemical parameters like pH, ORP, dissolved oxygen, conductivity and turbidity. Thanks to its automatic cleaning system and its extremely long life time lamp, the maintenance is roughly limited to the periodic refill of the inexpensive cleaning solution and eventually reagents depending on the parameters.

Innovation to UV – Vis Spectroscopy

• A high resolution spectrograph scanning wavelengths from 180 nm to 750 nm, with wavelength resolution and on-screen display of values at each wavelength is the master part. • Direct absorbance measurement for UVA, COD, BOD, TOC, NO3, Colour PO4 and Cr VI brings fast and stable measurements with a simple hydraulic circuit. The analyzers are factory calibrated and local multi-point calibration allows to get readings of COD, BOD and TOC under the UV alternative method for compatible applications. UV spectroscopy brings faster results than conventional methods like COD, BOD, TOC with much less maintenance once the correlation is determined. • The Analyzer allows to add additional modules for Gaseous parameters mainly Ammonia, Hydrogen Sulphide. A revolutionary method of Gas stripping allows to monitor total gas concentration and not in ionic form. This method allows to measure Ammonia and Hydrogen Sulphide separately and Ammonical Nitrogen in liquid phase. • Aqualog series of analyzers are designed for a non-clog operation, as the Analyzer comes equipped with a flow cell of different apertures of 1mm, 3 mm and 10 mm. This makes these analyzers advantageous for all levels of suspended solids. • The light source, being a pulsed Xenon Lamp, allows for 10 years of life as 10^9 flashes.

Features

User Friendly Interface

The colour touch screen and user friendly interface available in different languages which makes very easy to test or configure the analyser. A USB port is provided to download the last 24 hours recorded measurements as well as a diagnostic file containing the configuration and useful information for remote troubleshooting. The interface caters to test and troubleshoot each element of the analysers (light signal, pumps, solenoid valves, etc...). The diagnostics feature to understand the life of sensors and parts is the master part in this configuration.

Multiplexing System

Aqualog analyzers offer state of the art feature of multiplexing offering analysis of different streams (upto 6), in a single instrument. Addition of Electronically controlled solenoid valves and modifications in software caters to this feature in the analyser.

Up to 6 different streams can be selected

The Standard channels can be either duplicated (each one having its own 4-20mA output or MODBUS register), or measured sequentially to fit with the maximum of 16 Standard channels (a MODBUS register tells which stream is currently being measured).

Automatic Cleaning

To avoid deposits on the optical windows and tubing, all the analyzers have a built-in-automatic cleaning system that injects a 5 % sulphuric solution normally once a day. An auto-zero is performed at the same time to avoid any drift of the measurement.
