GHigh Efficacy and Cost Efficiency
Moving bed biofilm reactor (MBBR) is a biological technology used for wastewater treatment process suitable for municipal and industrial application. Another common name is moving bed film reactor. MBBR offers an economical solution for wastewater treatment. This technology with lower footprint is a better alternative to conventional wastewater treatment plants with larger capacities, which require monitoring at multiple points. It works on improved FAB (Fluidised Aerobic Bioreactor Technology) based technology and offers an effective option to the conventional systems made unavailable due to scarcity of open space, geographical network of piping, high power and land cost.
Municipal Waste Water Treatment
Removal Of BOD
Nitrification and
Denitrification
Skid Mounted and Compact Design in Packaged small capacity STP aids in for quick and easy installation, and space efficiency.
Pre-Engineered for low cost and fast delivery.
Achieves <5 BOD mg/l without using UF membranes
Good for a high volume of load
Extension and expanding is easy. This is made possible by increasing the filling degree of carriers.
Lower discharge costs and A Complete Self-Regulating System
MBBR is not affected by toxic shock
Independent process performance as there is no return line for sludge; MBBR eliminates the return activated sludge (RAS), Production of sludge is lower
It has high effectiveness of sludge retention time (SRT) which enhances the nitrification process
MBBR media is installed to retrofit existing activated sludge tanks in order to increase its capacity
